Do you charge by the hour or is there a flat rate?
I offer a set fee that we will discuss and agree upon together. Pricing typically ranges based on the session type, the number of people involved, and whether you’d like to include outfit changes. Sessions can range from a 30-minute photoshoot to an hour or longer. All of these details are finalised before we confirm your booking so you know exactly what to expect
Can we schedule a consultation or phone call before booking?
For elopements, I absolutely recommend a consultation or video call beforehand to ensure every detail of your big day is covered. For all other packages, we typically meet on the day of the session; however, I am always happy to hop on a call or chat further if you have specific requests, unique ideas, or any concerns you’d like to address before we get started.
Do you visit the location before the day of the session?
"For elopements, I make it a priority to visit the location beforehand—especially if it’s a new spot for me. Ideally, we can visit the site together; it’s a wonderful way for us to connect and walk through your vision for the day. For all other sessions, I specialize in the stunning natural backdrops of Piha, Cornwall Park, and Long Bay Beach. Since I know these locations intimately, I can ensure we find the perfect light and pockets of scenery without a pre-visit.
How many hours does your ELOPEMENT package cover?
For elopement packages, I focus on capturing the core of your story rather than watching the clock, but typically, coverage ranges from two to four hours.
This timeframe is designed to be flexible; it’s enough to cover your intimate ceremony, some relaxed portraits in a beautiful setting, and those quiet, candid moments in between. If you have a specific timeline in mind or are planning a more adventurous trek to a secluded spot, we can easily adjust the duration to make sure nothing feels rushed.

For locations outside of my usual areas, we can discuss travel arrangements and any associated costs during our initial consultation.

What happens if it forecast for rain?
What happens if my child doesnt listen and it all becomes very stressful?
I always want you to have the best possible experience! If the weather isn't playing along, we’ll simply reschedule to a new date that works for everyone. If we can't reschedule (like for an elopement), we’ll pivot to a backup location.

Please don't worry, and I hear your concern. I am very used to the high energy and unpredictable nature of little ones! My style is all about 'natural play' rather than stiff posing, so if your child isn't interested in sitting still, we simply follow their lead. Some of the most beautiful, authentic photos come from those unscripted moments of them exploring or just being themselves. I’ve found that when we keep things low-pressure and fun, the stress melts away and the genuine smiles come out naturally.
dO YOU DO HOME SESSIONS for new borns, family or maternity?
Yes, I do sessions are clients homes. From maternity to new born and capturing your family's story at home too. These photos are not on my website as they do not follow my style of golden colouring, and I respect the privacy of your home. The final photos will be in your home natural colour tones. Please inquire to discuss further.
